Portobuffolè and Venice are connected by a waterway: the Livenza river that runs alongside the town was formerly used as a transport route for the timber that arrived from Cadore, also used for the construction of some buildings in Venice.

The typical Venetian style and elegance have been handed down over the centuries, also influencing the production of the furniture sector. Even today, attention to detail is a distinctive sign of the achievements of the Veneto industry.

Today, the furniture sector in Veneto leads the national territory.

The Made in Italy quality and guarantee are highly sought-after abroad: 58% of the current furniture production is sold in 180 countries around the world.
